Non-Suitable Conditions for Tele-Consultation
The below conditions are not suitable for tele-consultation.

Fever lasting more than 3 days

Stroke-like symptoms (Slurred speech/one-sided weakness or numbness)

Trauma with deep open wounds

Suspected Fractures

Other conditions that are NOT suitable for tele-consultations include repeated consultations for the same condition without improvement and first diagnosis of chronic conditions such as diabetes or hypertension.

For other conditions not listed above, the doctors will assess your history, current symptoms and other available documents to determine if your condition is suitable for a video consultation.

Are you able to provide CHAS/ Merdeka/ Pioneer Generation/ Medisave subsidies for Chronic Diseases through Tele-consultation?For all chronic diseases listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), CHAS Chronic subsidies and MediSave (i.e. MediSave500 and Flexi-MediSave) can be tapped on within limits to offset the cost of the video consultation, related drugs and related investigations if it fulfils MOH’s requirements as follows: First Consultation: The first consultation will have to be a physical in-clinic consultation with our doctor. CHAS/ Merdeka/ Pioneer Generation/ Medisave subsidies are applicable for this visit. Follow-ups: Subsequent consultations for the same chronic disease can be done remotely via our tele-consultation service. This is provided that the condition is deemed stable and well-controlled. A maximum of 3 tele-consults can be claimed under CDMP in a calendar year. Yearly blood test: As part of chronic disease management, relevant blood tests have to be up to date on a yearly basis.

Can I claim for tele-consultations under my personal or corporate insurance plan?Major insurance companies provide plans that cover for remote medical consultations. Please check with your insurance provider if your plan covers this.

What conditions are suitable for Tele-consultation?Below is the list of conditions suitable for Tele-consultation: Sore throat, cough, runny nose, flu, fever Headache and migraine Diarrhoea, vomiting or constipation Skin rash, cold sores, acne Urinary tract infections Menstrual issues Gastric pain Conjunctivitis with no visual disturbances Muscle ache, heel pain, gout.

What conditions are not suitable for Tele-consultation?Tele-consultation is designed to manage non-emergency medical issues. Below is the list of conditions non-suitable conditions for Tele-consultation: Emergency conditions such as chest pain, deep/bleeding wounds, severe shortness of breath, seizures, severe pain, sudden onset weakness, numbness or slurred speech, suspected fractures Non-minor conditions Dizziness or loss of balance Asthma Abdominal pain with fever Fever longer than 3 days duration Any injuries First diagnosis of chronic disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol

How is payment made?Payment is accepted via credit card or paypal. You can set up your card payment upon registration.

How do I obtain my MC/Invoice?Invoices, MCs and Referral letters will be sent to you via e-mail electronically. DigiMC is an initiative by GovTech Singapore. It is an online version of a paper medical certificate (MC) and is accessed via a unique link under the main mc.gov.sg domain. All of our clinics use the DigiMC platform. Following your consultation, we will send a unique link for your MC via e-mail as well. You can choose to forward this link to your employer or relevant parties. As a computer generated MC, the doctor’s signature is not required. For more information, please visit this link.
